The most effective abs exercise for stomach fat has little to do with sit-up or ab crunch(though these have a part that they play, but rather exercises that work on the entire body are by far more productive. Abdominal exercises like sit-up and crunches do not get rid of fat in the stomach it only firm up the stomach muscles but the fat still remains in the stomach.

If you are looking for abs exercises for stomach fat you will have to do exercises that will increase your body metabolism such as cardio exercises like jogging, walking,swimming, cycling etc. If you suddenly realize that your stomach is flabbier than it used to be then there is the likelihood that other parts of you body has also gathered additional fat even if you have not realized it; it just that the stomach is easily the most noticeable.

1. Do some heavy jogging or running for about 1-2 mins.
2. Then slow down to about 3-4 mins of casual jogging or walking.
3. Do this 8-10 times.
4. Take a 5 mins break and go through the entire process again.

Combined with a healthy diet, cardio exercises like jogging, walking and swimming are the best abs exercises to get rid of stomach fat because it increase you metabolism which burns excess calorie from your body.
